Ok, thanks for the advice. I'm not planning on doing heads and cams for a while probably another year or 2, maybe not at all of im satisfied with the gains I get from this. I'm running stock valve covers for now don't really plan on changing them out anytime soon. so I'm assuming I'm good to run without a spacer? Also planning on getting a larger throttle body, also have an exhaust on order. I'm just doing these easier air flow mods to get a little extra kick out of the car. It's just a street car I just want it to be fun without it getting me a ticket.
If you want vacuum leaks that can't be fixed, get BBK throttle body

I have read about some people having issues there and it just makes me wonder if they didn't use a sealed bearing or they are not seated properly, improper tolerances in size or what.....

He shouldn’t need a throttle body with an intake though. I doubt he will see any gains, just a touchier throttle.

Realistically, you don’t really need the strut tower bar. I felt the difference between having one, and not having one, and it is very small. The only reason I like them is firewall reinforcement. Foxbody guys always complained about firewall flex with heavier duty clutches. I like the cheap insurance that the bar gives.

For a convertible it could have a bigger effect.
