Hey guys, I need some help in finding the right intake manifold. I have a 95 gt and I put a bbk CAI and a bbk 70mm throttle body. I am having a hard time finding an intake manifold that will match up with my TB. If anybody has any suggestions or a site that could help me out. Thanks in advance!

no problem man! We have lots of 5.0 fellas that can help you out.

First, what do you want the car to do? Drag race? auto-cross? road-race? weekend-warrior show car? daily driver? etc. etc. etc.
Next, what is your budget?

Well on occasion itll be driven daily but its mainly my weekend car. I get the luxury of working from home so I don't have to have any daily driving to be done. I've seen edlebrock manifolds go for high 500s which im okay with but it does not fit my throttle body, so im looking for something in that range no more then that if possible for weekend driving and occasional drag racing. any ideas?

What do you mean having a hard time finding a intake to match up .... 90% have a 70mm tb opening buddy. The edelbrock performer rpm will work well. There's numerous that would be ok even a street heat or if ur budget minded a gt40 intake would work well too personally I'd get some heads at the same time ... If it was me.

well I do plan on getting some heads with it for sure, but I was reading that the edlebrock manifold only fits its own tb or is that just a bunch of promotional bull?

I have a fox-style 75mm directly on my Performer RPM (no adaptor) with no issues:

If you plan on keeping the stock heads:

1) Cobra/GT40/Explorer intake
2) TFS street heat
3) Edelbrock Performer RPM (or PPI Typhoon, but prepare to finish machining them)
4) Holley Systemax

Any of those will work well with aftermarket 165-190 cc heads in the future without giving up much in the way street manners with a "tame" cam choice.

oh okay, that answers my question, how is the edlebrock? do you see a decent performance gain? I know after I get that and some heads, a really nice tune is coming so how is the product?

Edelbrock is a tried and true performer, better than the Cobra/GT40/Explorer group but no better than the Holley/TFS pieces. I don't have a stock style engine and wouldn't be able to give you an accurate review BUT will post an "old school" intake shoot out, dyno test here in a few minutes..

edit: the fit and finish of the Edelbrock is very good!
