I was thinking the same thing, but everyone told me that there is no overflow on the T-5. It definitely has slowed down lately though.

If your tranny has way too much fluid in it, it will come out (Obviously) and get onto the mid-pipe. When I put my last tranny in, I had my brother put the fluid in it while I went up stairs to take care of something. He put in 4qts. Shit smoked like hell for about 2 days.

I figured out MY problem

had nothing to do with the tranny, not a drop of tranny fluid under my car. it was oil! my dip stick tube was not inserted into the block all the way. I first noticed that there was no oil on the passenger side under the car, just on the drivers side, then i noticed it was all over the lower bell houseing plate thing (forgot what its called) so then i saw the stupid dip stick tube sticking out about 1/2". It was kinda a PITA to get it in there, but i did and its good now

i hate the dipsticks on our cars

Haha. Glad to see you got it fixed, could have caused some MAAJOOORR headaches if it wasn't.

You know the hose from the oil fill tube that runs to your air intake? If that gets a kink in it, it'll blow your dipstick out. Just ask my power steering fluid cap thats covered in oil about it. :)

I was at the racetrack one night and I noticed it kept blowing out, tried to fix the hose but it was impossible. So I grabbed one of a drag racer's best friends, a zip tie! lol Zip tied it down and kept on racing, fixed it a few days later. The zip tie is still hanging there just incase it ever happens again :thumb:
