oh well im going to make the best of it, theres a bunch of little things i want to do this winter. Im going to strip off the front strut brace, and either fab up a new one, or clean up the factory one and get it powder coated in red. im also going to paint the brake calipers red. Im going to look for a good condition Factory ford cd player for it (it has leather seats but it doesnt have a cd player wtf??). i may also get new rims and tires, and lower it this winter. im waiting to get it dyno'd in the spring, and get some track passes down for a baseline before i start doing some big power mods. aside from cleaning up some other odds and ends thats all my plans for it this winter, i just gotta wait to get slow at work so i have more time to fab up some stuff for it.

although it is sad to see it be parked, at least you arent like some of the dumbasses around here driving badass cars in the
snow and sleet. last year i saw a dodge viper SRT10 trying to make it through 5 inches of snow, i couldn't believe what
i was seeing. some people are just plain ignorant.. :nonono:

Some people don't care and it's just a car to them, there's a guy with a Z06 he drives year around, he even has a trailer hitch on it lol. Last year I saw a couple Vettes, M3s and Porsches driving in the snow...

if they can afford a viper, they should be able to afford a beater car.

i drive mine year round but i can't afford a beater car so, its slow driving and total attention to the road for me.

damn that stinks! I guess thats the advantage of living in Florida....you look foward to driving your stang in the winter cause its the PERFECT weather. 60* min. durring the day with the sun shining <3

well hopefully this winter fly's by for you......I would hate to have my car stored away for that long knowing it can run :(

Do all of you guys put sta bil in the car for the winter? I just fill the tank and let it sit. I used to start it all winter every other week but the condensation is hard on the exhaust. I just let her sit and baby the first tank in the spring.

That is one of the advantages to living here in the South. Don't have to put your car up just because it gets cold :D

Mine is asleep out in the garage too. Always sad when fall comes and the cover goes on. BUT, it sure is a huge rush in the spring when the cover comes off. It's like getting a brand new car every spring. And not just any new car. A bad ass performance car that you are already crazy about. It's even better when you make some mods during winter.
