Yea, keep it civic guys.
I did some quick research on vortech IATS and it seems like in the summer heat people are seeing temps approaching 200 degrees vs temps being roughly 20-30 degrees above ambient with an A/A intercooler.
So even on a 90 degree day, you could be seeing IATS of 110-120 rather than 200 degrees.
I can only imagine how hot a non intercooled KB would get. lol
As you have said, its your car and you will do what you want and obviously you can get away with no intercooler but it will get heat soaked and yank a lot of power on warmer days.
