It can be done but normaly factory turbos are small so mustang guys end up doing a twin turbo setup to make a decent amout of power.I could go into detail but its easier to post this link.Go to www.TurboMustangs.comhttp:// Look around there site they have section deadicated to JY/DIY Kits.

unless you can fabricate/weld, doing a "junkyard" build really won't save you much money IMO.

the fitment issues are a nightmare. I know a guy who tried this over on stangnet and he ended up scraping the whole project b/c it was to difficult. Im not saying it cant be done but its not like buying a kit that has all the correct fitting piping.

Is your budget only $500 when it comes to boost or would you consider a pre assembled kit?

ha, you think your gonna get a turbo kit for 500 dollars?

righttt....

your gonna spend twice that on injectors, maf, fuel pump, and tuning

Theres no way in hell your gonna pull a turbo setup together that cheap unless you are making the shit yourself...even then, isnt a good turbo gonna cost over 500 dollars?
