Well I just finished my 4.10 gear swap and carbon fiber track loc rebuild and man what a differance
I bought the car believing it had 3.73 but decided it had 2.73 after getting it home. The new s clip was a major pita. But
I feel it was worth it.

That's what i got and i am going to be running a 75w140 full syn also.

I used synthetic red line with auburn additive it really hooks know
I didnt think the track loc kit would have made that big a diff. but it did

Nah it was in the high 8s when the previous owner had it in the 1/8 and that was with e7s and stock cam
know ive done 4.10s gt40p heads with comp beehive springs E cam and 1.7s Im hoping for at least mid 13s in
1/4 I dont run the 1/8 much since I got rid of my drag bike. What do yall think with a tune mid 13s or what

You do know the 4700c is the Same thing as a cobra trac lock right ??

Yep, that's the one i'm getting. Tousley Ford has them for like 130-140 shipped or so.

Look at the pic i posted. Summit charged only $11.95 to ship the 4700-c and 4210-c. So that would bring it to 119 shipped if you bought just the 4700-c kit.

Cool, Tousley sells the complete carrier brand new for 140 shipped. Not just the rebuild kit. And the stock carrier is 28 spline, the 04 Cobra uses a 31 spline carrier. I have 31 spline axles in the garage waiting.

I like it I think ill like it better after I get new tires and wheels and go with a little taller tire
