Just Finished My Auto to Manual Swap!

With all the parts hiw hard is the swap. Where is there a write up or a web site

yea pretty easy. Swap has nothing to do with the radiator system.

Autos have a cooler in the radiator, most of the ones I've seen anyway. But you can just plug the connections at the radiator. Some don't even do that, just remove the lines.

yea my mechanic just left them and capped them off.

Would this crossmember work? Does it need to be T5 specific?

i beleive it does need to be T5 specific, if i remember correctly. the T45 has different mounting system, right?

Guess you right after driving around for 5-10 mins check engine comes on and starts acting up. When i re start check engine is gone and works fine. Guess im just gonna order the sct chip. Added a few horses while im at it.

i have the manual harness... i ordered a sct chip and told them to program auto functions off from am.

ECU is probably on its way out. You cant use a manual harness on an auto ECU without frying a few resistors on the board.


and you wasted your money on that chip.

Can anyone tell me if there is difference between cobra manual harness and a GT's manual harness, a long time ago I bought a cobra harness but i figured they would be same. Any input? I'm swapping T56 Magnum in....
