i just took out a loan and went down to north carolina and picked up this beauty
its a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4, awd twin turbo, all wheel steering, active aerodynamics
all stock 5 spd
this might put the stang on hold for a while, because im import at heart

those cars are niiice if you do them right
those fart cans need to go though

and you need to get that turbo wing or whatever it is.
do the newer front end conversion
to the non-flip lights and the smoother front

my friend has one
fully built with aftermarket twins
and some chrome cobra r rims
it's soooo sick

a lot of people are skeptical about VR4s until they drive one..
we had one i worked on at work, and went for a test drive.... those things pull pretty hard
stock.. that is one of the many reasons i will be doing a turbo on my car, the pull is rediculous!

fart cans are definately on their way out the door, lol
ill probally build on the stang first now that i think about it, the 3kgt is just fine the way it is minus the fart cans
i need to get some more power out of the stang, that 3kgt will eat my stang alive, and i cant have that for too much longer
well i mean the the 3k is turbo'ed and awd, so.......go figure
im going to be having a competion with my own cars, :p

but i am keeping the body stock, i love the 1g's

I'm not familiar with them but by the looks I wouldn't want anything to do with repairing one of them. :eek:uttahere:

so i have heard
im not very familiar with them, all i have ever owned/worked on are dsm's and sr20/rb 240sx's, very simple cars to work on from what i have done, i have heard downpipe installs on the vr4's are horrible

Nice car man, they are pretty sweet and hold their value very well. My friend had a black one, similar year. It felt really fast to ride in but i was surprised when I was able to pull on it with just exhaust. Their weight is their weak point.

man, the engine is facing the wrong way!! better than a kia, or honda...etc... but dam i just dont like cars that are front wheel drive first, and then converted to 4WD for the manufacturer's performance version of said car.
