Just picked up this 98GT.

Hey all I just picked up this 98GT Premium. As you can see its in rough but restorable condition. Engine runs perfect. I need some new rims because these are shot. Ill be installing a pypes pype bomb exaust H&R super sport springs. and more. Ill be doing a restoration of the interior and later on down the road a mark viii swap. If anybody has some rims and tires they're looking to get rid of let me know. Im a student with a low budget and cant afford the new set of chrome 18inch staggered fr500's i want lol heres the pics.

Has one really bad rust spot on the rear drivers side quarter panel. ill be hitting the junkyard so i can cut a fresh section to weld in when i have the time. Ill be wetsanding cutting and buffing the paint as well. it just needs some TLC.

interior is ultra rough but i think it can be cleaned up ill be restoring each panel when i have the time including the dash. drivers seat bracket is busted so it sits a bit weird ATM. I need a new steering wheel as this one is worn down pretty bad. it appears this car was somewhat taken care of but still used pretty hard. It even has a mach 460.

If anybody has some good used rims and tires they'd like to sell me it would help me out so much I have a bit of money to spend on getting to a respectable condition but i cant spend 1500 on the rims and tires alone.

I have a set of stock bullitt wheels painted black, for a forum member I'd take 250, but you have to ship them. Two have tires on them, enough to roll on for a bit but they need replacing soon, and 2 have no tires

They don't retain this much gloss right now unless they are clean. Would be easy to sand them down and refinish them in whatever color.

This is the most recent pic right before I took them off to put new ones on.

Dude those are sweet. i love the bullitts. im gonna go look around and find some shipping options. i think greyhound would be cheapest my dad had a hood for his 68 f100 shipped through them. lol

Pikes good start! You should definitely do a thread when you cut and re weld that quarter. I myself would like to see that done!

they look great. Thats a better deal then i ever expected to find so i can afford to spend a bit on shipping. Ok so how much do you think they weigh? all together? im trying to get a quote frome greyhound they want to know if they'll be shipped in one package or 4? i have no idea what a package that big costs to ship lol

im for sure interested. im waiting on the title for my car the seller is going to the DMV tomorrow to get the duplicate then in like 2 weeks the title will be there. Ill be be getting paid that time too. so ill keep in contact with you so you know im still interested. cant beat that price lol

It would be 4 individual packages, and I'm not sure on weight lol. O boy haha.

Kill, I had painted that set, the ones on the car now were factory black.

Pikes Peak. Please note, the paint is not perfect anymore. There is some cracking that comes with age on painted wheels. I don't want you thinking they are these perfect wheels and have you be disappointed lol. If I would have found them for 250 though, I would be all over them. I'd list them on CL for 350.

Yeah ill be doing a thread on that for sure i figured you guys would enjoy that. Ill be doing threads on everything i do to this car. ill be restoring all the interior panels. ill be doing a full paint restoration.(no repainting) and all of that good stuff. its all going to be done with the least expensive things in mind. but least expensive doesnt mean the wrong way lo

oh dude dont worry about it man. If i have to repaint them im down i love doing that kind of stuff. im a firm believer in Blood, Sweat, And tears and a few curse words. thats why god made beer and thats how the best cars are built.

It's a 3.8 block, but an f-150 4.2 crank. Basically, bored and stroked lol

Straight up $1500 lol i was pretty stoked the guy said 2k. and then when i got there he was like look dude if you bring 1500 next weekend you can take it. He said if if it didnt get sold by may he was just gonna scrap it. My heart instantly dropped into my stomach i was like no i cant let you do that.
