I'm not sure but you may want toi check local laws as well, I almost got pulled over for not having my plate mounted and in my winshield after I was in an accident. If you are good enough you could fill in the plate area, otherwise I would say leave it there, it just seems like somethings missing

Yeah but what Im saying is that if you are good enough to fill in the recessed area for the license plate then it would look better than if you didn't. Because when the recessed area isn't filled (which it usually isn't) it just looks odd IMO.

I was planning to leave the plate off mine but it annoyed me to see the screw holes and I knew as soon as I filled them I would get pulled over for no front plate (mandatory in my state) so I just put it on with a smoked plastic cover so it doesnt look too bad

yeah id leave it on, i had mine off, but it just looked like it was missing something, then i just got a cobra bumper.

if i had a gt bumper, id put the plate in a nice black frame or smoked cover, and leave it on.

but thats just my .02

chances are you will get pulled over for it sooner or later. its probably best just to leave it on.
