Procharger will net up a better ET. I ran a 2004 gt with 576 RWHP to My 498RWHP (p1sc) And i ran a 11.60 to his 11.80.

I now have a d1sc and looking for 10s. but im a track whore. So its easy for me

the 2004 gt had a kennebell im assuming?

thats pretty much how it is...the centri blowers pull better up top and generally will run faster times at the track, even with less power like you said

you probably have better suspension and other factors that contribute...my roomate's mach 1 that makes 408 to the wheels on a 100 shot runs an 11.15, that doesn't mean that nitrous is better than a kenne bell or procharger. Unless you had a kenne bell, then switched to the procharger and that was the only thing you changed, you can't say that it will net a better ET.

I might be wrong but I think you need to go read that website and the thread on this.
Someone brought that point up but I think the kit that made that power isn't the baseline kit. It was the one that comes out to like 5k with everything...
I don't think that baseline kit comes out to 3995. I think it STARTS at that for JUST the kit plus all the stuff you gotta do to install the rest of the parts you need...
Like I said I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure that it's a lot more expensive...
I'm sticking with the MPH Mongoose Kit... just me though

Yea, he is wrong

4k for base kit, they want 6k for a complete kit which you will need+ a tune will be $$$$ to tune a turbo car on a dyno. 400 for a tuner + the dyno tune and you got another 800 bucks there.

Ok that's what I thought...
Turbo setups are NEVER that cheap for our cars...

but the potential.... :thumb:
and i stand corrected it was just 4k for the base 5k all inclusive (same set-up thats on the shop car)
your not going to get as much HP out of 8psi from a S/C...
not to mention the KB kit is like 4-5 grand NOT installed and you'll make like 300-310RWHP...
not that im sayin that aint cool ive ridden in a KB 97 GT in spartanburg and he HAS to run DR's
however...
we can argue semantics all day long but do what you feel is best :thumb:

i hear ya boss.
i don't plan on staying at 8lbs though ahaha
i'ma put the s/c on and run it daily at like 8 or so tuned.
then i'ma get a shortblock, put it on a stand and build it up then swap motors out.
but that will be awhile from now
