anyone on here have any experience with the KB blowers on the 5.0? i know they seem to do pretty well on the modular cars. in the future, i want to put on some type of supercharger and im trying to decide now if i want to go the centrifugal route or the twin screw route. im trying to decide somewhat in advance because if i go with a centrifugal, i will buy a new intake manifold sometime soon, but if i go with a KB, i will hold off on that and possibily get a GT40 lower only... just wondering if anyone has any experience with KB's, as that is my preference as of right now.

i was actually looking at an s-trim, the reason i would like to consider a KB is less space taken up in th engine compartment and more room to access things. ive also heard they make good power but overall i dont know much about the 5.0 kits.

In my opinion the largest negative about KBs on 5.0s is KB doesn't offer an intercooler. Oh well, isn't stopping me :coolsmiley:

Why don't you guys consider a Turbo, great power, great reliability, and less stress on the motor. It might be a little more expensive now but if you don't mind getting rid of your AC you can get a turbo setup from quicktime turbo for $3000 and he test fits each piece of his custom built kits before he ships the kit to you, Great guy too, if you have any questions give him a call he'll talk your ear off haha.

His kits have been proven to outperform Hp turbo kits.

Well I had originally been waiting for Hellion to come out with a 94-95 turbo kit and with years of waiting and calling every year to see th e status of the kit from Hellion, and finally getting this response "We really don't plan to come out with a 94-95 kit anytime in the near future we just don't have enough interest although a kit is in the early stages of development" He said that the kit is being developed and tested on the hellion guy with the yellow mustang here. so maybe you can ask him some questions about it if you are dead set on a hellion kit like I was.

After a big dissapointment on my part he recommended me to quicktimeturbo. I gave the guy a call and he really knows what hes talking about, great guy if he doesn't answer just leave him a message and he gets back to you very promptly.

For me and a street only car I am going Kenne Bell for sure. I have driven lots of Roushcharged Mustangs..(well a few)...& I love the instantaneous response!! I figure there will always be someone faster (more money) so I am just making me happy with a good amount of power & fast throttle response, no lag. Love that Torque!
