Ok, my first time out at the track with the kb. ( 1/8 ) mile

3RD RUN

1.94 60'
8.20 ET
90 MPH

My first 2 runs were 8.37 and 8.38 with bad 60'

I do know there is way more improvment here, but just wanted to let you know
what it pulled the first time out.

I was running on MT street radials.

i wouldn't launch any higher than 4k RPM's if your on stock axles with that Kenne Bell. If you slip the clutch just a hair and than let it go you'd could easily get in the 1.7's w/ around 16-19 psi in the rears.

Your time's are pretty good really. As said above, the stock axles won't take alot of that torque. Hell I twisted some up with DR's and Novi power, you got alot more torque off the line than I had.

I was launching at 4k on the first two runs, but was spinning a little.

My last run I lowered to 3k and tried sliping the clutch just a little. This was at 10:00 at night and the track was cold.
There were not alot of cars consistanly going down the track either.

The cold was good for the car, but not for the track.

just takes some time to get used to launching. My buddy with his 00 GT Auto broke the splines on his stock axles. He had a 11:1 compression full bolton's w/long tubes, 410's, uppers, lowers, J-mod, 3000 stall, with some port work. It did 287rwhp with comp 262's tuned. He had a NX wet shot 100 pills and it took one weekend at the track foot braking with about 5-7 runs on the dope.
