Hey guys. I need to get struts and shocks for my car. Been looking at Lakewoods 90/10 Struts and 50/50 shocks. Any of ya'll run the 90/10's on a street driven car? Good? Bad? If you do run 90/10's on a street car, would you reccomend someone else run those or go with the 70/30's? Need your opinions. I know I can go with other brands and get adjustable, but I am looking at budget constraints right now.

Thanks,
Josh

IF you remember to keep your speed down through corners, 90/10s are more than liveable. If you keep your front sway bar on, even more so but I ditch mine. I drive mine with big and skinnies and 90/10s on the street quite a bit...not daily but often enough. its not that bad.

how do you think the 90/10 will drive with 265/35/18's.

They should be just fine. I ran'em with that same setup, no front sway bar, and no power steering for quite awhile.

should help. If you're still on a plain jane street radial, you can't expect miracles though.

I ALSO HAVE 70/30 AND 50/50. iT HANDLES GREAT. If I had it to do over, I would have went with 90/10. I'm working on getting mine to the drags.

thank you i have been waiting for someone to answer that. Do they help with racing, not just launch like on the street from a roll.

wieght transfer is weight transfer. it should help at all times.

If you still run a shitty tire, its not going to be night and day.

Slicks with a shitty suspension > Snow Tires with a good suspension
