he can't be charged with anything, it's like you taping yourself smoking pot... unless the cop is there they can't do anything.

edit: my friend was just talking about this with my aunt cause one of he did the same thing and the cops questioned him about it, she told me that they can question you about it and take you to court, but they can't charge you with anything, i don't know the technicals of it

thats just ridiculous, hes putting himself and other lives at stake here, if hes wanting to run his car up to 219 mph, do it on a test track, salt flats or get permission from a air strip to run there

Amazing vid but i do think that 219 pass is speed up, look how fast the camera is shaking, wouldn't be like that at normal speed. If you compare the 200mph pass and the 219 pass it looks like a way larger difference than 19mph.

i dont think thats right. wouldnt it be the same as being caught on tape? if you rob a store and your caught on tape, you sre busted! same circumstances IMO

That is crazy. I wish I could go 200. I would probably make a bad decision too though. At least he did it when there was no one on the freeway really. I have seen some people do some things pretty retarded right in a crowded street.

They were not even wearing helmets or firesuits. There are many places to go for top speed runs that are safer.

Not going to lie. In Houston, many times I have been guilty of doing this same thing on a 5.5 mile enclosed 3 lane wide straight flat concrete toll road section with no on ramps. I always carry a helmet in my cars though. Fastest I have gone on it was 172 in a 02 ZO6. Had 3 miles left too slow down. Helmet on. 3am and no one on the entire toll road. If there had been any cars, no way would I try that!

NEVER RECORD it! Yes you can get into serious legal trouble!!! You video tape yourself killing someone and you get the chair, you video tape yourself racing and post it online in TX you go straight to jail.

People speeding here on motorcycles or cars filming themselves speeding on public roads, where the camera has shown the speedo reading, the tape has been used in court to prosecute them on many occasions.

Thats hella crazy pretty sweet i wanna go that fast but yeah its pretty dangerous to do. I am pretty sure that they cant prosecute them for that though cause they were not caught by a cop or whitnessed by a cop and its there video. Just like the smoking pot thing the officer has to be present i believe.
