Tad would probably know.. there are places that you can run 219 legally and have medical crews standing by so why not do it then?? stupid to go 219 on a freeway. selfish and dumb. if he would have wrecked, they would have had called 911 and waited for an ambulance crew to get there.. then wait for someone to show up with the Jaws of Life to cut up his $320+ thousand dollar car... but before they even made the phone call the guy would have probably been dead. either way, hes a moron for doing it.

its a cool video yeah but it would have been just as cool seeing it on a closed airport runway (like the texas mile)....

Pretty sure they can use the video, you can say that the pot was actually "tobacco", but you cant argue with a speedo for the most part. I would think that it is evidence that was willfully turned over to the police, or found online by the police in plain public view and would be admissible for that reason.

yes they can use the video as evidence, they have done it several times for other things like violence and posting a cell phone vid. they car use it in court and they will.. its called Video forensics..

moral of the story, don't be stupid,. and if you are going to go that fast, don't show the speedo. because then you can say that you just sped the video up... ohh also they did pass a few cars, and thats another things that got them in trouble.. again they use all things they can to stop this kind of thing

thats just ridiculous, hes putting himself and other lives at stake here, if hes wanting to run his car up to 219 mph, do it on a test track, salt flats or get permission from a air strip to run there
