LASER RED...???

Hey I want to paint my mirrors but the tri coate is a PITA. Has anyone tried to use Redfire instead? I know its very close and on somthing like the mirrors I dont think you would notice. Anyone know the best way for me to paint my mirrors (interms of color)?

Redfire isn't as close as you may think. Until you see them side-by-side, you may not notice, but once you do, redfire is a noticeably darker.

hurmm...there was nother color like tornado red or something maybe by GM?

I know that Volkswagen has/had a Tornado Red, but its a plain bright red.

If you don't use Laser you will be sorry ...... trust me it will stick out like a sore thumb.

have them painted the same color matt... if you don't there is no chance of them matching. it will be difficult to have them matched perfectly as is.

I agree..... hell, my bumpers are darker than the rest of the car, and thats how it came from the factory??

i'm sure there's a color out there that matches but i'd just go with the "actual" color. cause that would be the closest

Here is where things get really shitty..... they make factory matched color mirror covers, but only for 2005+ models.
Is it just me, or since the new body style came out, they have given up on making stuff for the 94-04 cars??? Every where I turn there is new stuff for the NEW stang that I have wanted for my car for a while, like the rear window scoop, I always though that would look really good on my 96??

if youre set on painting them... go with the factory color. are you painting them or are you having it done at a shop?
