I have a 94 cobra 5.0.. I have 3.73 gears with m/t street radials 275/40/17.. How do you guys think i should launch the car at the track tonight?? Drop the clutch at 3k or just ride it out.. Was practicing on the 3k dump last night, did a nice burnout...Revved it to 3k and dropped the clutch and all it did was spin..I think i'm better off just taking off without dropping the clutch

Also, should i drop the tire pressure? If yes, what to??

Also, last time i ran i ran a 14.6 a 98 mph :nonono: with a 2.5 60ft.

Shitty i know i was getting off the line that great but my other question is.. when i got my car dynoed it made the most hp/tq at 4,000 rpm.. should i bet shifting at that on the track or should i go to the redline?

dont shift ay 4 grand, it will cuase you to bog. normally a good way to do it is carry out 750-1000 RPMS past your peak so when you shift your RPMS fall at your peak power. id say shift around 5K. best thing to do is experiment at the track with it. As for launching, alot of people like to slip(or feather) the clutch to get the best hook. hold your rpms at around 3000-3500 and slip out the clutch to get that 60 ft down. its also a good idea to let a little bit of pressure out but i dont know what pressure you should run

Dont dump the clutch unless the track is really sticky. Usually I hold it at 3,500 - 4,000 RPM's and feather it slightly until you can feel them hook. I have those tires to and they will hook hard when launched right. How are you doing your burn out?
