Okay. . . so I'm putting the GT-40 lower on my Windsor jr heads, I have Fel-PRo 1250 gaskets with the cork connecting pieces and I have the Fel Pro 93334 with the rubber connecting pieces. Which gaskets will serve me better as far as leaks go? Also I deleted the EGR system should I block off the ports? and if so what would be a good material to use?
I've always run the Felpro with the Rubber silicone gasket. edit: here is the link to what I've always used http://www.cjponyparts.com/intake-manifold-gasket-set-gt-40-5-0l-cobra-1986-1993/p/IMG20/ yes you need to block all the ports you opened up.
use the rubber gaskets and cut the flange off your egr valve and install just the flange upside down, that will cover the holes for your egr ports in the intake
