so it's been 4/5 years since i raced circle track cars.. i raced mainly dirt track in the early years.. this cars an asphalt setup. It's a hatchback thats been hogged out with a nascar style cage and a highly modified 4 cylinder (it's actually pretty damn badass, sits there and lopes all to hell). It's been sitting for a bit, and needs to be worked on some, but it's a hatchback shell (just outer sheet metal) full tube chassis, and a custom 9" design with a 3 link setup, uses stock placement lower control arms and a panhard/upper bar. Fuel cell, 4 speed.. the whole shabang. Dad REALLY wants to crew chief me again in some kind of circle track/road racing again like back when, and my main man pit man Todd said he'd get back to it, he wants to pit for me more then I want to drive again, and I want to pretty damn bad :hammer:. It'll be a new experience as i'm used to mud/clay hardened tracks but I would think it won't be much different. And for those that doubt my driving ability, I have over 30 wins and have about 300 races under my belt, so it's not anything new to me. Don't doubt me because of my age aight? :thumb: IF I pick it up, you know i'll DEFINATELY post pics on here, yall are my homies :coolsmiley: Oh, and for those decently close to dylan, SC, yall ought to come out if I do end up out there, thats where i'll be racing :)

i'm a driver "for hire" just my dad seems to keep bringing me in with his offer of food and a roof :hammer: go road course/oval.. i've done the drag car thing, its fun, but for me a drag strip is more fun running your fast street car.

Been 4 - 5 years since you raced, when you were 12? Go carts?? That would have been a lot of fun.

The early years, where what, when you were 9?

Go carts and cars are a little different. Sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun though.

Good luck,
Steve

hey steve you know what karts were talking about right? not the kiddie ones that parents buy for 4 year olds, :hammer:

shifter karts are insanly fast, most will beat a corvette in the 1/4 and in the corners. i cant wait to get back into any form of motorsport

Dirts for farming, not for racing :hammer:

J/K man

In my earlier years ( only about a year ago) i used to run a fox on 1/4 mile asphalt. Them damn 2.3 are pretty damn potent when you get a light ass car like that on a small circle track. We're in the process right now of finishing up on our new Super Late Model. Its a 02 lefthander chassis, with a nice 347. Should be pretty nice when we finally get it out this spring.

good luck with that man!

alot faster then your backyard gokart, i had about a 5-6k dollar kart. I started when i was 7/8 years old.. started racing at the drag strip when i was 12 meanwhile racing karts. Then stopped with karts when i was 14. And i've done my share of car racing, cornering, etc. I was taught by some of the best drivers in the state who raced these cars i'm about to get into. Of course it'll be a learning experience, but again, I have raced my share of dirt and hard clay vehicles/karts. 300+ races and 30+ wins with alot of seconds and thirds, I definately have an edge over a newbie
