I had a Hurst in my 97, worked fine. It wasn't application specific, just a line lock I had to cut and splice the lines for.

FYI, my 97 did not have ABS front or rear, if that makes a difference.

a 99+ line lock WILL NOT work on a pre-99, the brake lines are different. you need to get a universal one (hurst, summit, etc.) and make your own brake lines. a properly installed line lock will not affect the performance of the brake system when it is not engaged - manual brakes, power brakes, ABS/no ABS, custom proportioning valves - none of it should be affected.

I used two Hurst roll control kits. One for each front wheel. This keeps an even application on the fronts so the car doesn't turn sideways during a burnout. It also makes the bleeding of the brake system easier.

if you look at the kit, they are just general selections of fittings and lengths of line. as stated, go to your local auto parts, and make/bend yours to length. the only even halfway difficult part of the whole process is flaring the ends, which any reputable brake shop should be able to do no problem.
