^ Scarface is correct it's your car and you have to live with it not us so,
do what you feel comfortable doing.
I used the RTV method successfully doing my PI intake install and saved myself three hundred dollars from not
having to buy adapter plates.I felt comfortable doing this so,I did it.I belive the adapter plates are
a waste of money if you feel confident useing the RTV method but don't for some reason.
If you search around you will find write up's on useing the RTV method.
Intake manifolds with the plastic crossover are notorious for cracking at or around the thermostat housing
and making a big coolant mess for you to clean up!
