I have it and I like it. It is not inexpensive.

You will get a lot of "it's not necessary and the price is too high" posts. To each, his own. You can get adapter plates on Ebay, too, but these are not Livernois. You can just use RTV sealant to seal the areas not covered by the new intake/gaskets. So, you can spend a minimum amount of money or spend a little more for the kit. It really comes down to what you feel comfortable with under the hood.

Chris

its nice, and like Chris said its all about what you want. This kit would be the easiest all around, but you pay for it. If you have a bit of mechanical experience you could price it out and do it all by yourself with RTV and taps... Its all in what you feel comfortable doing.

^ Scarface is correct it's your car and you have to live with it not us so,
do what you feel comfortable doing.
I used the RTV method successfully doing my PI intake install and saved myself three hundred dollars from not
having to buy adapter plates.I felt comfortable doing this so,I did it.I belive the adapter plates are
a waste of money if you feel confident useing the RTV method but don't for some reason.
If you search around you will find write up's on useing the RTV method.
Intake manifolds with the plastic crossover are notorious for cracking at or around the thermostat housing
and making a big coolant mess for you to clean up!

Did you get it yet? I have had mine now for over a year and had not one single issue with it. I just didn't feel as comfortable with the RTV method, not saying it isn't good.

so with the livernois pi intake? you wouldn't have to rtv anything?

you would still have to tap the 2nd hole coolant sensor tho right?

and what about the nipple on the waterpump? you have to do anything with that?

is the livernois just a switch? I mean just take npi off, use the adapters and put livernois on top and tap 2nd coolant sensor and you're good to go?

This topic has been covered plenty of times before, searching is fundamental.

The only thing the Livernois kit allows the user to go without is the RTV; you still need the other pieces, which they include in the kit.

if i search it it comes up with just more livernios intake threads. not what i would still need if I bought it....... why do you think I asked? I've searched before to no avail, and then when a thread like this comes up I go and post in it. INSTEAD of a making a whole new thread to ask OR reviving an old one....

If you buy the Livernois kit, it is complete, no tapping, drilling, dancing, or anything else, complete, as in completely complete.
