replacing the fuel pump fixed that problem in my car. If you turn the key on and off a few times before cranking it does it start faster?

Typically this is a symptom of a weak fuel pump or regulator allowing the fuel to drain back from the rails to the tank.

An easy test is next time you start it cold, cycle the key to run five or six times and see if it start's quicker.

I have a stock pump and sender that has about 30 min on it. I used it to get me to work one day and then that afternoon my 255 came in.
