long tube question

ok im thinking of getting the bbk long tubes for my gt but from some of the pictures iv seen they hang close to the ground so my car is sitting on sportlines do yall think that will make to long tubes hit crap laying on the road? speed bumps and such or anyone have other ideas thanks :icon_rr:

Justin has Mac and he said he never has clearance issues with his, SLP makes a nice set and so does American Racing hearders !!

I had MAC long tubes when I had my 98GT. I was fine but was extra careful. If your gonna go with long tubes, go with the American Racing Headers. They a bit pricey but they are worth the money. I have a few friends with them and they got excellent results. ARH only advertise headers for 99-04 mustangs. But they will fit with 96-98 GT's.

FYI: MAC LT's are tucked up higher than BBK's. I will be ordering some within' the next wk. &1/2

*** just got off the phone with my buddy who has bbk lts with his mach 1/t56 set up and isnt happy at all with the fit so I would just be careful**

see thats what iv been told bc iv seen picts with bbks and they sit like 3 in off the ground so i didnt wanna pay 500.00 for something thats gonna get F 'ed up ya know so ya thanks for the info
