Ok. my buddy decided to do a 351 swap into his fox. What is the best 351 block for such a project? Would one from the 70s or 80s be better or is there no real difference? Out of a truck be better?

Any information for what to look for or get would be great.. Thanks guys

Wasnt finished.. ive I always read no big difference. They all should should handle 600-800. (Jim aka fordstrokers) at least that year you wont have to deal with lifters. I went with a dart, because im always wanting more. I know eventually ill get an itch. :)

I used a 95 lightning block on my fox. The later model blocks will be setup for roller lifters. You can make an older block a roller but if you have the option to use a newer block it would make things easier.
