As the title states i've been giving it some serious thought, and i've decided to boost my stang, i've had several turbo'd cars in the past, and i just miss the feeling of boost. as for what type of forced induction i'm looking to go for something streetable, it's my D.D. right now but i'm getting a truck soon for a beater, so the stang will be my weekend warrior. after research i figured supercharging would be the easiest and best on my wallet, i'm doing this on a budget as i've dumped a ton of $$$ into it already, haha. Well there are a ton of options, but it really depends on what you're doing with it... If its just gonna be a romp around town street car, then go with a Kenne Bell. If its gonna see a fair amount of track time, then go for a procharger, vortech, etc. I think its safe to say that you can run about 11 psi on a stock, healthy 5.0. SC Kits can be had for only a couple grand if you know where to look, plus they're pretty easy to install.

Actually, come to think of it, that would be a waste of my $600 intake manifold, lol. mayabe the vortech or procharget would be better, hahah

Well you can always sell the intake to help pay for the Kenne Bell if thats the direction you wanted to go with.

you can get a boost brothers turbo kit. Then all you supporting fuel mods and chip for about the price of a vortech kit. I personally run this kit and dont really have any complaints about it at all. I love my turbo 302

All i would really need for the turbo kit, is the manifolds, and turbo, and oil lines, ect... I already have the supporting fuel mods, 40# fuel injectors, walboro 290LPH, Vortech FPR, and full engine management

Vortech V3 Si

Easier to work around, easy to install, can make just as much power to break the block in half.

Yeah, that would be awesome, but the cheapest i can find a kit is like over 3K which is out of my price range. I have all the engine/fuel work done, all i need is the supercharger and mounting brackets/hardware. was hoping i could find a used one or something

You would not be happy with the kenne bell kit. Just installed the blowzilla kit on a 93 mustang. It's a heat monster almost 200 degree air charge temps on the dyno not to mention what they would be on a long street pull. Gotta use a stock or cobra lower. To top it off they don't make near the power kenne bell claims.
