Inside as in between the layers of metal? I have had luck in the past using a small donut shaped magnet on a string where I put it in and "fished" around till it hit the screw

Lol I wonder what kind of noise they will make when you hit a bump. Magnet on a string FTW!

I've lost countless bolts and nuts in my engine bay and my friends magnetic pickup thingy worked wonders.

If a magnet doesn't work, and be carful not to push high spots into your decklid. Take it off the car flipvit upside down an shake it , all arond and do the hokey pokey.

I have a couple of the extendable magnets but none of them could get in there since there was no "straight" entry point

You can also unbolt the trunk, take it off and move it around until they fall out a hole

Ha! Good luck getting them out... ever. It's a complete pain in the ass. I dropped one of my spoiler screws down there twice. Took longer than it should have using one of those flexible magnetic things these guys are talking about. Mainly because it kept wanting to attach to the trunk lid itself instead of the bolt...

Might as well just burn the car to the ground at this point. There's no hope.

hahaha yeah pretty much. I deal with this bullshit at work everyday. flexible magnets are the shit, but the really strong ones are just frustrating because they grab everything but the thing you're trying to pick up lol

You can also find a larger magnet, sandwich a rag between your paint/magnet, and 'grab' the screws with the magnet and run them to where you can grab them with your hand or pliers.

Or the magnet on a antenna, I used one of those to get my oil pump shaft out. Worked great!

Auto Parts stores or Harbor Freight for magnets.

I lost two machine screws in mine over the weekend installing the s-351 spoiler.. How'd I remedy this? I didn't.. Lmao, I dug through a bucket of bolts and found HEX headed bolts to replace the crap they sent me

+1 extendable magnet

this may be a dumb question, but what's the best way to mount the spoiler?
having someone hold the spoiler up while I have the trunklid open and screw them in? seems like the only logical way to do it lol

Measure and center it. You gotta use accurate measurements or it will be off center or at an angle.
