I'm surprised I'm saying this but 1bad95 I really like how your car sounds, and I'm sure it's a lot louder in person outside the car than you think or than it sounds in the vid. Has a really nice tone with the catted x, says a lot cause i HATE LM1 with offroad pipes. I kinda like a lil popping on decel, my friend's Vette does it with a Borla catback and I think it sounds mean. Just a little is good.

yeah, my car with the O/R H and flows gives out the popping sound when downshifting coming up to a traffic light or whatever. i love it.

I wish people would stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stick with what we know works. Flowmasters or any variation there in. There's no real Hp to be made with mufflers so anything above stock is good enough.

Thanks man i am liking it a lot now also. There is minimal popping upon decel now. I really like the tone it has though. I cant belive how much the catted X holds the sound together and gives it a nice agressive tone, instead of the the loud scream it had with the off road.

Not trying to reinvent the wheel at all, just looking for different setups. Dont get me wrong i love a mustang with flows. It is the mustang sound and even those who dont know cars at all know the sound of a mustang. I found a killer deal on the slp kit new and wanted to see what other sounds i could get that would sound mean. just exoerimenting. had 3 different midpipes on seeing what all i could do with it.

its all preference. do most 5.0 guys hate it, yeah, but thats why there are many other companies out there for people to choose from. i mean i have slp on mine, wanted somethsng that sounded different and i got it. i have an o/r x and yeah it is loud. do i think it sounds bad, not really. my only complaint is the popping upon deceleration. I swapped in my bassani catted x yesterday because im bored while laid off, and have been driving all day and it is a night and day difference. the car sounds almost stock with the catted x. to me it sounds like a 3 valve 05+ i will try and get a sound clip of it tomorrow

You mean the crackling on deceleration?My car used to due that with my magnaflow catback and o/r H pipe, but ever since I put on shorties and re-did the engine, I have not had it do that once lol. As for Javi, Im a 17yearold owner too, 18yearoldowner in 2 weeks actually. I prefer chambered mufflers over resonator styles, I heard borla,bassani,flowmaster,magnaflow and dynamax. I took magnaflow cause it sounded the best for the best price. I loved Borla, but the extra $300 wasn't worth it, and dynamax sounded like a chev half ton, didn't care for the bassani that much though.

yeah upon deceleration but with the slp and o/r pipe its more popping than crackling. now mine has a nice crackle to it, not a popping

yeah that wouldn't be boring at all. Flowmasters do sound good but every time I hear them I'm like God more Flowmasters. I liked my setup too but I got bored with it and wanted something more exotic sounding, hence the change. I'd probably never go back to Flowmasters now that I've heard what other systems sound like.
