Naw i love them, best bang for the buck besides nitros. But i don't have the buck for them. I was told by a guy that rebuilds them that he could rebuild me one with like a 3k or 3.2k stall. So i think i might go with that one but i would love to have a 4k stall.

Speaking of a 4k stall... whats his name on here with the thunderbird... he has a 4k stall, npi head, comp cam and bullet intake and he runs like 12 something. Hmmm 12's.

JOhnny Langton, he's mildly famous, lol. He also drives it regularly and let's his wife drive it.

4k on the street would start to creep in on your streetability though. But for a mod motor, a 3200 stall is damn near required.

yea, if i end up doing the 4 valve i would go with around a 4k with some gears , but if i stick with the 5.4 2v then i would go with around a 3k or 3.2k and some 3.55's. But yea i see a 4k getting kinda rough. My club pres. has a TA with an auto and she put in a 3.2 or 3.4k stall and it dropped her MPG a lot. Don't know if its the same on a mustang.

If it's non-lockup it will. And it will drop the city MPG anyway.

How much power can I expect from a tb/plenum combo? What gears should I get?

you'll get throttle response and a jump in top end power.

your gear choice should be based on your ammount of highway driving, or how much you wanna dump in gas. 3.73 is the even choice in street/strip. but i thinki i'm going to get 3.90s
