When i figure it out, You'll be the first to know.
So ya my car is on the road...But i did have to get a cond pass to do it...I am not happy about that. So here's what i found out..

He said my car has low engine vac, something like 14, he said it should be around 20.
He also told me, because of the low vac and my E-cam, the car is dumping fuel and this is wearing out my cats, there at about 50% right now...

Is any of this true or is his mistaken? He thinks this is whats causes my Blinking CEL, because when i first start the car the vac is so low, the system senses a mis fire and throws the CEL..

Ideas????

Yeah that's what i have read myself....I buddy of mine said i most likely have a vac leak somewhere, and I think i now where, I am getting some hose clamps tomorrow and see if i can button it up, IDK what to say about the blinking CEL, i have tried everything. The mechainc that did the diag did test my EGR valve and he said it's working....so maybe getting the vac leak under contorl will stop it....?

Why haven't you pulled codes? There are many things that will trigger a CEL and there are codes that are logged by the ECU and do not cause a CEL warning. If the mechanic is correct about a rich condition then the CEL is most likely from the O2 sensors. Have you done anything to the smog pump? The secondary cats need the additional air to function properly.

Pull the codes. Go from there. Sounds like it may have a vacuum leak. Look around and try to find it. BUT before you throw any cash at it, pull the codes.

Thanks guys, I have pulled the codes, and i do get an insuffinate EGR vac, I will be looking at it tomorrow...I have an idea of where the leak is.. :) I am just wondering if a vac leak can throw a blinking CEL at start up, Thats the only CEL i get now, the other one is gone...

A CEL indicates that a sensor is reading outside the expected parameters. If it corrects itself the CEL will be turned of. However, the event is still logged by the ECU. You said the codes were pulled but what exactly were the codes numbers and did you erase them after you wrote them down so as to ensure any codes logged are current.

any bigger cam is gonna run lower vac, and why do u have cats ? get rid of them they suck . even if u have emissions just put the catted h-pipe back on before u go for the test, whats it take 20mins?

and if u r that worried about the leak just take the intake back off, if its leaking its prolly the upper.. not that bad of a job
