Whats a better riding spring, the HR SS's or the eibach sportlines? they both seem to drop the same amount?

***The following is just my personal opinion***

I had Sportlines on my '02 GT and H&R Super Sports on my current car. Personally, I prefer the Super Sports. But be sure to pair your springs with a good set of aftermarket shocks in place of your stockers or any discussion of ride quality is academic at best. I have Tokicos on the Cobra; they're a good entry-level shock/strut that won't break the bank.

H&R Super Sports with stock isolators, Tokico blue shocks, MM caster/camber plates, Steeda bump steer. Wheels are 18x8.5" front and 18x10" rear with 263/35 and 295/35, respectively.

CJPP "aggressive" springs with stock shocks/struts. Next purchase will probably be Koni shocks/struts, MM C/C plates and Steeda bumpsteer.

New guy here. Longtime Fox Body guy. Brought this beauty home yesterday. It's got either B or C Motorsport springs in it. I'm hoping they are the C springs with progressive rates.

Sweet ride!!!!

What size are your tires? I have a set of '03 rims that I am going to skin. The 245/45-17 on my car are almost brand new. So I may use a pair for the front and get 275/40s' for the rear.

Thanks.

Thanks! Want to get a 3.5 cobra hood, and a repaint. I like the ride height where its at. Scrapes enough the way it is.

Don't remember the side profile, but 275's in the front, 285's in the rear. Front left rubs on the sway bar on full right turns. 17x9 and 17x10.5's. Tires came with the rims. I think I'll put 255's on the front next time around.....

quick question for you guys. I never understood why you would not use Isolators on your springs it just seems retarded to me you only gain like 1/16th of an inch by not using them and your ride is rough as fuark, makes no sense to me. The question was what is the point of not using them?

^It looks a lot better to have them out. With both of them out you drop appx 1/2" or so. Which makes a BIG difference in the stance world. Ride quality isn't exactly affected either

yea idk I had a very knowledgeable mechanic tell me otherwise long story short said to just re use my stock ones or just buy new ones, because it will be a rougher ride and you will feel and hear more bumps.

Removing the isos on my car actually lowered the front approximately .7".

Also, it doesn't make the ride "rough as fuark". The reason people don't remove the isos is because they prevent metal to metal contact which is noisy.
You can actually just wrap the ends in electrical tape like I did and noise/vibration will be limited. Some people have used rubber hosing or things of that sort.
If you wrap the ends correctly, the ride quality will more then likely be unnoticed.

Just collected H&R SS springs, Fox Body Koni STR T's, J&M C/C plates, X2' balljoints, Steeda's bumpsteer kit, MM clutch cable kit. If this part list sounds familiar to anyone else s, please post pics. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Just installed "summit racing pro kit" 1.5" drop springs in the tiny garage behind the car. No isolators, hoping it settles but here's how it sits.

Just had my Ford B springs installed with KYB shocks/struts. Top stock isos were fine so there in. with heater hose on the bottoms. Which worked really good. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Especially if it settles a little. This was an hour after install. I did not want it slammed. I like that look, but it's just not for me.
