Im buying ARP lug nut studs and I want to know how long they have to be for drag slicks.

As long as you need. The rears need to stick out from the lug nuts and the fronts have to be at least even with the top of the opening.

I was at an IHRA track all 08 season and my rears stuck out my fronts were about 1/8th" from the edge of the lug nut. They let me pass tech and it was all good.

Also depending on what wheel you run will determine what type of lugnut you need.

oh, those close topped? i have those just like that, except they are close top so no thread would come throught the lug nut.

Justin sent me his lugs with washers when i bought the wheels from him.
