Yes you can change them. I just recently did mine all around.

Make sure to hit them with some pb blaster and just pound them out.

They press in if you get press-in studs..not all of them are..but they did come press-in style from ford and what Ferocious said is true - PB and a mallet

Idk off hand..I think I'm mistaken..I should have stated that what I posted was not my experience..I was talking to a guy with a stanced 240 and he said his studs weren't press-in but I can't remember what he said they were

I had trouble getting OEM lugs to reseat after I ran longer aftermarket ones so I simply replaced both hubs, problem solved

Was going to suggest.
If it is higher mileage especially. Only a few more bolts and no hammering or pressing.

Mine were only at like 70K miles, I honestly think they just had enough. You figure I had already removed OEM studs, pressed in aftermarket moroso ones, etc

Replacing the whole hubs was worlds easier then putting in all new studs anyway

You can buy brand new hubs instead of just the lugs if you like wasting money. The lug studs themselves are super cheap compared to a brand new hub—unless you need new hubs or are uncomfortable with very high mileage ones; then go for it. Problem solved.

I would recommend just buying replacement lugs from any auto parts store and installing them. Do it the right (easy) way and use a hydraulic press if you happen to have access to one. Using a lug nut and washers to drive on the new studs could damage the threads (unless you lubricate the hell out of them). You'll be worn out after the first two or three if you try installing them with a mallet (ask me how I know).

I used a hydraulic press to put in OEM studs and they were spinning in the holes so the options were either weld the studs to make them permanently in place or new hubs

Both new hubs were well under $100 for brand new ones, I paid like $30 for the studs if I remember right so it seemed like a no brainer to me, return studs, pay extra for brand new hubs. Done.

Guess I just like wasting money
