Next up:

I did replace the passenger exterior door handle and the driver side door latch. While I had the door panels off, I took the opportunity to replace the inner window dew wipes and the map pocket delete panel.

Then I cleaned it up inside and out in preparation for "Not" Mustang Week 2020.

It turned out to be a GREAT event! It was just as packed with Mustangs as if everything was normal.

Then we had almost perfect weather for late November in the low to mid 70*'s and low humidity. Not knowing if such a day would come again anytime soon, I took the opportunity to paint the brake calipers for the 5 lug Cobra disc swap.
They were painted Ford Green Gem Metallic using 2K epoxy primer, 2K basecoat, and 2K Gloss Clear in spray cans. This is the same color that I plan to repaint the '93 with.

So in April 2021 I finally got the 5-lug Cobra brake Conversion done! It was a bit of a thrash to get it done last minute before the annual Easter Race at Roxboro Motorsports Park.

While I was at it, I also installed new Strange 10way single adjustable shocks and struts, and got the Line Lock plumbed in.

Here it is with the RaceStar wheels at the track.

I also managed to get a new best time of 8.35 in the 1/8th mile at 80mph.

Just before going down for Mustang Week I got the parking brake cables and handle installed. The handle is from an SN95 Cobra.
Now I need a new boot for it and the shifter bezel.

Couple of pics of the coupe from Mustang Week 2021.

On the way back from Mustang Week 2021, my 4 hr drive turned into an almost 8 hr drive after the smog pump delete pulley decided it wanted depart on Hwy 17 just outside of Wilmington.

I finally was able to get a ride to the nearest parts store (that was a 15 minute drive away) to pick up a shorter belt. Unfortunately by the time I had made it home, this belt had stretched too much and was now coming in contact with itself at the tensioner.

So I ended up pulling the stuff off the front of the engine and giving it a good cleaning to remove all the bits of rubber.

Now that it was looking a lot cleaner under the hood, I decided to go ahead at this time and install the Speed Doctor Racing Components low mount alternator bracket.

And this pretty much catches us up to date on the car.
