maf problem

ok guys having some problems on my 95 gt well when maf is disconnected car starts but once maf is connected car starts up but dies.. i had a summitracing maf calibrated to #24 injectors.. i replaced it with a pro m maf thinking that i had a bad maf but concern is still present. i looked for vacuum leaks but i dont see any....any help apreciated thx

And you have 24# squirters? Checked for codes?

not sure what MAF you have or if you have taken it out lately, but is there any chance that it is in backwards? I swapped my intake to a power pipe that used a lightning maf that mounted up in the fender. When I installed the maf, I had one arm up the fender where one eye could see the bolt to tighten when I grabbed the maf and just threw it up there, backwards.......... The car would start, fire for what seemed like almost one full rotation and then die. I realized later that night that the maf could be backwards and swapped it the next day for no problems.
