So as some of you know, My brother who has a Black '95 GT that alomst matches mine was in an accident a few months back. well, it's time for him to have it inspected back home in Houston, and it's going to cost him around $2400-$2800 just to fix the car enough to pass inspection, and become driveable again(AFTER he paid to have the car put back together and painted) well, he's decided it's not worth fixing, so he's looking into buying a new Ford truck(he's looking at an '06 F150 4X4) anyways, he says he's going to give me the car, so i can strip it down and build my race car... I've got a 390 sitting around with heads, intake and carb, just needs some guts, and headers... So i think instead of working on my '95, I'm going to leave it the way it is, and when i move back to Houston, my brother and I will strip down his car he's giving to me, sell what we can, I'll give him the $ of course since he's just giving me the car... then i can throw in the 9" rearend i've got, the 390, and the cage and all the goodies. It's exciting, but i feel bad for my brother, I found him the car online, and wasn't there to look at it when he went to buy it since i'm in VA...If i was still in Houston i could do all the work it needs for only the cost in parts... oh well, i'm just glad he wants to give it to me... thats awesome... So looks like when i move back to Houston, i'll be building myself a strip car... can't wait, hopefully i can sell all the parts and make my bro some of his money back... the damn thing has Chrome Cobra R's, and BFG KDW's with less than 1200 miles on them.
