Do I really need these or will it make my car miss. Or run different.

I've been running MILs for a couple years now...no problems. I have the plug and play version.

I've heard it makes it run richer if they are not on but i've heard thats bs also... if you don't mind the CEL on then just skip them.

I just got some plug and plays from American Muscle that were 60 bucks. I ran it for years without them but now I bought a pair because of the running rich issue. I talked to a ford tech that said the rear O2s on the OBD ll cars do more than monitor and throw a light. If it reads out of normal the computer will make the motor go rich(safe mode) to prevent damage to the motor because it cant tell whats causing the problem. My light is still off and my gas mileage has emproved but I also got new front O2s and plug wires aswell so who knows. It dosnt smell as rich as it did either. Couldnt hurt to get a pair, esspecially with gas as high as it is.

What midpipe are you running? When I put my UPR catted X in I did not need MIL elims, just put O2's in and go. If it is a cat-less offroad pipe, then yes you will need them or spark plug de-foulers or turn off the rear O2 sensors with a tune.

If you're getting a tuner, then no.... You should be able to turn off the rear O2's, thus keeping the CEL from coming on...

I've still got my rear O2's connected with BBK MIL's to keep the CEL from coming on.... You're going to need them with an o/r pipe, and from what I've seen, it's a toss when switching out to a hi-flow catted midpipe
