I'd appreciate any and all feedback I can get from you guys on these damn things:BangHead:. Seemingly simple situation.. I need new motor mounts. Dealership quoted me about $55 a piece the first** time.. and over $500 for the install (which I can do). So i went online, ordered a pair of just factory replacements, not the poly's, and they sent me the wrong parts. I swear they were tranny mounts for a 65 chevy or something wack. So I went back to the same dealership (Town and Country Ford of Charlotte) and they again looked up the part and quoted me like $60 a piece..?? Then I had another shop quote me something else! Nightmare..

My question: Are the mounts the same for both sides? The guys in parts were telling them that for my 96 GT, that the passenger ans driver side mounts were made a little bit differently due to engine torque. Just wanted to make sure this was the case so my luck dosnt reveal otherwise during an install

The OEM mounts should be like $30 a piece from tousley ford.

I bought the poly mounts.... SO worth it. And you can do it yourself its just a Tedious Job.
