MPH stuck

Came home last night at about 1.30 and was going a 30 mph street and looked down, and my speedo was at 50! got to a stop light, and it goes to 0. turn and its back at 50! what the heck? i am really wanting to change to a different speedo setup. anyone done a custom speedo? pics of any setup. thanks!

Just admit it, you really drive that fast.. You take corners at 50mph, drive 30mph, then floor it and suddenly up to 50mph,
it's ok, I'm not a police officer, i won't write you a ticket....

Do you have aftermarket gears? If so have you changed the Transmission speedo driven gear?
You might have a problem with the Speedo sending unit on the transmission..
But if you are thinking about aftermarket Speedometers, I personally think that Autometers cluster
looks pretty sweet.

the car, i believe, has stock gears. i am just wanting to get rid of the whole stock gauges.

My Chevy had this problem, was just the Sending Unit from the Tranny for about 30 Bucks.
