Put it up for sale on Tuesday on ebay (normally timewaster central) at 2pm and it was sold at 7pm same day.

The guy is on his way now with cash. Agreed price at 8 grand (British Pounds). Thats just a ballhair under $13,000.

That nearly beat my Capri 280 that sold on autotrader a few years back.

I think I`ll have a good think. The garage won`t be the same now regardless of whats in it. :(

Aye Nick, it went quick. Even though it`s probably big money in the states I felt I practically gave the fucking thing away. It was a peach of a car. 23k miles is nothing. There was an immaculate 99 Cobra went LAST WEEK here in Scotland for LESS with 40k miles. I would have bought it. Manual 5 speed and it had been advertised for over a year. I would have went out this week and bought it if it was still available. Guess where its going? Back to America!

Maybe there was a thread on this already... but why did you sell it?

A thread on what?

Basically I had it two years and felt I had hit a dead end in terms of where to go next with it in modding etc and just fancied a change.

Just thought you might have posted about why you were going to sell it earlier.

Gotcha. Any ideas for the next car? I like seeing you guys over there running American stuff :)

American cars here are rare as rocking horse shit. A mustang here is a total vagina magnet and wee boys and grown men stop and stare.
They obviously cost more and change hands for more money but part of the appeal is the fact that in 2 years I only saw one other Mustang. We have fast fords too (300 and 400hp Focus RS`s Cosworths etc)

I like 2008 Bullitts but I have a soft spot for F150 Lightnings;)

Thats the one. I think it went for 7000 Pounds.

I rang the guys wife last week and she said her husband finally managed to convince someone to come and see it. Turns out the guy was blew away with the condition and bought it on the spot. Bastard!

Funny to see we finally took so many cars that they are now being shipped back ;-)

I bet F150's are realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly rare over there haha.

Actually, in Holland there are quite a few F150's. Pick-ups are a real niche market and if you want a pickup you basically have to choose between a US Ford or a Dodge (or maybe a Toyota). I've even seen a few Raptors over here. So there are quite a lot pickups. Mustangs on the other hand are quite rare. To many competition from European and Japanese sport cars / sedans.

Good luck with finding a new one, Brian

that's because pickups get tax discounts for people who use for 'm for company purposes. Normal cars don't.
