First.......It's weird to see your sig and duh09's sig so close together, they are almost mirror'd of each other.

Second...I love it. Badass.

is this still holding together. if so i might stil the idea.

I crashed the car. The hood was wrecked before I even had a chance to test it, and I did not want to cut into my original hood. Maybe if I get a chance, and find another clean hood, I'll do something like this again, although this time I will go much more radical, and try to copy the Tiger Racing hood.

AR3Z-16C630-AA part number for the scoop. Im thinking about picking up a extra hood and ditching the cowl.

WTF?!?!? You crashed the car?!?!?! Pics or ban?

Like way back in august. Car was fixed less than a week later. Luckily for me, I had original hood and OEM bumper in my possession. I just had to shell out money for header panel and paint.

So I guess you didn't like it in the end either or you would have done it to this hood as well right?

The idea is you test something, see if it works. I'm not about to test on a perfectly good finished hood. 20 dollar hood from junk yard, fine. Factory painted hood that matches car finish, no way in hell.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. I'm fine with the looks. What I'm not fine with is hurt performance. Let's say I cut into the stock hood, and install the vent. Then I test it, and find out that I placed the vent too far back, and it's actually sucking the air in. Now, I've got something that hurts the performance, and I have to close it back up. In either case, the hood has to be tossed and replaced, but if it's a 20 dollar junk yard hood, I'm not going to care much. If it's my stock hood, which already has good paint on it, I will care a lot, since now I have to go get another hood and get it painted to match.
