This is my 96GT. I've had it for 7 years now. It has a tubular front end, coilovers up front, Moroso springs out back, P&P Npi heads, Comp 274H cams, MasterPower 70MM turbo with supporting fuel mods, 3" cold piping, 3" down pipe, 2.5" hot side pipes, BC Automotive Darrin built 4r70w with triple disk converter, 31 spline trac loc with axles and 9" ends, MM LCAs, BBK UCAs, subframe connects, soon to get a cage sometime this year. Right now the car is still getting the turbo put on it and the rear is getting finished. Then its off to Modular Depot for Ken to tune it up. Here are some pics of the progress thus far...

No numbers yet on the 96. Shooting for around 400HP/TQ and should be in the 11s pretty easily. I hope to get it done by June. Its been one of those year long sort of things :knuppel2:

Shots of the car with past air ride suspension and wheels.

I've pieced everything together. All the way down to the cutting of different pipe bends to make it work. If you have a welder, a grinder and a little bit of knowledge of turbos anybody can build their own kit. Patients is also another biggie :wall:

thanks. we plan on adding another hopefully this year.
air ride wasn't all that bad. even though its not the best for drag or road race but cruising around it felt like a caddy. It was fun having a 1/2 second lift and drop at the flick of a switch.

there are way too many things to even list. I can list some basics but every app is different.

I think the air ride would look 100x better if you had like 18x9s, 18x10.5s so when you dropped it the fenders were basically on the tires...it looks wierd tucked in like that

yeah all I had at the time were the 17X9s. I think the fender flares help the look too.

well its been awhile. My rear end should be done by this weekend. The hot side pipes are tacked up and ready for final weld and wrap. Moved all my sensors to the downpipe. Got all the auto stuff done and the cooler ran and wired. Basically just have to shove the rear in, reload the new tune, check all connections and fire it back up. Probably will drain most of the gas thats in there since its over a year old and back when it was barely $3 a gallon :crying:

nice bob. awesome to see another turbo sn95, you dont see many. good luck with the project and your goals of 400 hp/tq are very realistic. like you said, should be mid 11's if you get some sticky tires. Just curious, what stall torque converter did Darrin recommend you?
