New member, so figured I would introduce myself and post my ride. I'm from PA and I've owned a mustang ever since I turned 16yrs (86 LX was my first car). I'm 38 now and I've also owned a 95GT, 98GT, and now this 98 Cobra. I've owned this car since 2007ish (I'm the 2nd owner). . Everything was stock when I purchased it, and it was in desperate needing of some TLC. Original paint, and I've included some of my upgrades. I also kept everything original that I removed in case anyone wants to put it back together someday.

Exhaust: Bassani X pipe (2 high-flow cats) into Magnaflow Magnapack catback
Engine: BBK 65mm Throttle, BBK CAI, K&N Filter, Ford Racing wires, Bosche plugs
Suspension: Eibach Sportline (SR isos used front and back), J&M CC plates
Wheels: Stock (Eibach 25mm Pro-Spacers on rear)

Up Next: I'm planning on snagging a nice pair of shocks / struts to replace my factory issues; I also plan to upgrade ball-joints and add a bump-steer kit... May also replace the coil packs w/ MSDs.

Further in the future wishlist: updated brake system (Brembo), wider wheels / rim package, gears, and a tune.... Maybe a supercharger, but you know how it goes... $$$$ lol

Anyways, feel free to drop a comment w/ your ride and introduce yourself, always cool to meet new people. Take it easy!

Thanks! Yea, I've tried to keep it in good shape. I agree, black is difficult. lol The paint has some minor imperfections up close, so it's not perfect, but I look at them as character marks lol

Very nice car! Glad you logged on.

Do you have future plans for the car?
The car is a lot of fun to drive and I enjoy turning wrenches, so I'll probably keep doing some projects (see 'up next' and 'future wish list' above) as I have time and money.

Thanks for joining. There are some very knowledgeable and helpful members. And well behaved. VERY NICE SN95 you got there. We know about Black paint. We have 2 Mustangs, a '03 REDFIRE METALLIC GT bought new, and my BLACK '04 Mach1. We had to get a fresh repaint on both. Being over 17 years old, and outside at work everyday, even parking in the Garage at home, taking care of them for Car Shows, the factory paint gives up. So we bit the BULLIT ha, and had them redone. It was definitely worth it. Again, welcome, and hope you have a Garage.85208900_10157490131452182_6501313170143969280_o.jpg 85102041_10157490130032182_4486852656530194432_o.jpg

Nice looking cars; I almost found myself in a Mach 1, always loved the shaker hoods! As for my car, it sits in the garage outta the sun most of the time...that's likely why my paint has held up pretty good - although I Imagine at some point down the line, I'll be biting the Bullitt (nice pun) for a new spray too. Anyways, thanks for saying hi!
