Dalamar, 8-bolt wing? What was done to get it to be 8 bolt? pics?

I still haven't put mine on (2 bolt) and want to get more bolts on it.

thanks gabe, they added some studds to it so it bolts down tight, kinda hard to see in the pictures.
I also had them fill in the gap in the underside where it hangs over the decklid.

I'll shoot some more pix, I'm headed over there now

It's purdy.

I'm excited to get this stripe sprayed out. I've gone down every lunch hour this week - and laid down lines on the hood and on the sides.
the hood, is a no go, there's too many contour lines on it, but I really like the side profile.

Thoughts?

i think you need to find a way to 'finish' the stripe, like fade it out or something, or do the muscle car stripe(if that makes sense, like on old chargers and stuff, where its a dashed line) paint looks sick

Yes, that's what we're thinking. the tape is just for visual, but we're thinking of doing a striped fade out or something.
Just on the end, because the line doesn't exactly flow into the spoiler edge.

I like your style...if I was doing a complete body overhaul, I would do everything similar...clean and slick, we have very similar taste :thumb:

Hey Paul, we decided to add the floating blue pearl over this white. my painter suggested it after looking at this test spray.
It's going to be sweeeeeet man.

He is Good. I called him yesteday at 9 and told him to shave the antena.
I showed up at 12, and it was done and primed.


Here's the plan:
Paint job steps:

Paint the jams, and under hood pearl white, and clear.
Paint the whole car pearl white,
paint 1 coat clear base,
1 coat blue pearl/clear base,
2 coats clear base and let dry.

Mask off graphics and paint,
Clear everything 3x,
dry 1 day,
Buff

yea those, i dont know how the pearl thing works but will one layer be enough? i think its a sick idea, ive always wanted to do that w/ black base and a candy top coat, cant wait to see 'er done

it may need more pearl, he's going to spray out a test over the white so we can look at it.
I just want the blue to show up on the contours, too much would look light blueisherish.

hell ya man. i think you need a little bit more pearl but the good thing is if you put in like 3 tablespoons in the transparent base if its not flashy enough mix up more transparent base with pearl and layer it. it will look fantastic i think you will love the outcome of it

Man that is gonna look killer when it is done. That blue accent will look great on there and maybe at the end do like the Cuda stripes and start chopping them at the end ///// Start wider and get thinner and thinner yet. Just a suggestion.
