I have been constantly changing my mind back and forth. A i cannot choose anymore, i give up. :(

So please help me, rims do i get: i really like all of these rims.

18in saleens chrome/black chrome
18in fr500s silver
17in 03 cobras chrome/machined
17in 95 cobra R chrome

standard fitment only, i like the 17s because the tire cost is better, and i can get a better tire for the same amount of money as the chreaper 18in tires.

but 18s look so sexy on lowered stangs.

I have fr500s so if i went silver i would have to ditch the rear wide rims and get a standard ones then have them all powered coated, but the cost of doing all that comes out to about the same cost as getting some saleens.

I drive in southern california and the roads are not great, so having a 17 would probably help with ride comfort maybe?

But i love saleens? ugh help me! :tongue3:

Why not just paint your current fr500s?

Why not save up to get a nice set of 18s? Seems silly to buy 17s just because they're cheaper. If you're not satisfied its not worth the money.

I dont feel comfortable painting them myself, i have ocd and i am a perfectionist, so if i mess up at all it will bother the crap out of me, so i would rather send it to a professional. But i dont want to run staggered fitment anymore, so i would sell the rear rims and but standard size in place, have all four corners with the same size.

Haha you guys are awesome :) okay 18s is the vote for everyone, I guess appearance trumps function. So then saleens or fr500s?

eeehhhh, idk about that. i guss i'm like an all or nothing guy. if i were to go the performance route i would'nt even bother with 17's, lol. bigs and littles on some 15" welds or something. if i'm going for a nice looking street car then yea....at least an 18 imo. those fr's look pretty good are they damaged or something?

Interested in trading? I've got original Cobra Rs with very good tires on them. Let me know, I am fairly local.

Not really looking to sell them, trade perhaps. I don't want to spend money on another set of street wheels right now.

no street wheels to trade here. I've got some waffles and the welds at the moment. Let me know if you ever want to sell. I'd like to have a stock/oem set of R58 cobras or FRPP fr500's

Bronze FR500s in 18! Although Saleens would look good too. And trust me 17 to 18 wheels is a huge difference in looks! 18s are much better looking.

I vote some SVE Series 1 wheels! Not every mustang has them!

Those are BBS LM knock offs. Wonder what the caliper clearance is like.

Those look exactly like the series 1s. I love how they look. Not sure on caliper clearance. Are you running Cobras or larger than that?

Maybe you'll receive a PM from me in the future. I have oem FRPP FR500's. 6 of them to be exact lol.

uhh, maybe??? what kinda tires? My tires are nearly gone though, does that change anything???

you honestly cannot go wrong with Saleens. the silver ones maybe look a little bland but the other finishes are hot.

Yeah, thats what i am leaning towards but it just cost so much money i dont want to regret buying it later.

Yeah i hear yeah, 18s do look better, but tire cost is to dam high. but whats 250 every couple years.

I have oem FRPP FR500's. 6 of them to be exact lol.

I would love to get my hands on orignal fr500s, any chance of selling, idea on how much you would take?
