Hi all, thought id detail my cars transformation in complete.
Fist off, I got it at the end of my junior year in high school, whicj was about two and a half years ago. about the spring of 2009.
I had a 2004 competition orange V6, which was a mistake, that i had been dumping all my money into at that time. I had chances at a 2001 Bullitt, a 1999 rio red cobra, a 1995 cobra with 15K on it for 13K, and a 1995 Saphhire blue GTS, with 50K for 4500. Looing back I wish ida got the 99 cobra, the 95 cobra or the GTS.
anyways, i bought the 04 for a good daily, and the orange paint. By the time I was done, it was a mean looking car. Anyways, I was dying for a V8 mustang. I searched craigslist for a year looking for one, but I didnt have the money. One day I typed in 1996 mustang and BAM, a listing caught my eye.
It was a tangerine GT just a half hour away from me! Heres the pic from the ad.
now I went out and got my dad. He knew how rare these were too, so I taked him into calling while I was at school. turns out, it was an original one, not a repaint! I was pumped! After school we went to look and I fell in love. Sure it had issues, but it could be fixed. So My dad dickered with them and I got it for 2800 dollars. I had 3K saved up so I had a little left over to play with! I was at school when my dad brought it home. It was shifting weird according to him, and when someone cut him off and my dad tried using the horn, it didnt work. It did when I test drove it, but something happened on the way home....
