my distributors shot. options?

well over the past week or so my car has been running wierd; small backfires from the intake, surging idle, and bad sputtering. the car has a stock dizzy with msd cap. i took the cap off and i have lots of shavings inside the dizz and the bearing appears to be shot (very loose). i dont have the money for a nice pro-billet or anything, so does anyone know where i can get a nice remanufactures distributor or a nice, cheap no-name one? can the bearing be replaced?

i also want to know if a dizzy from a 94-95 cobra is the same. i found one on ebay that said its from a cobra. i didnt see any reason why it wouldnt work.
