While finishing this project I realized that my stang is more show then go and will now focus on the motor this summer. I always hated the way they factory rubber boot on the parking break tore and looked bad so I decided to swap it out for a leather on like the 03 cobra from redline shift boots. I had been considering adding racing stripes and continuing them through the interior and decided to pull the trigger.

I had to replace my heater core so I took care of swapping and painting at that point. I first painted the panels gloss black just to freshen them up a bit. Then I painted the green stripe that will be between teh black racing stripes down the middle of the dash starting up at the clock/radar detector and then continued it down over the shifter.

Trick flow heads are on the way now and just need to find a cam and someone to help me install them to get the motor caught up to the looks.

You get that from Redline? I've considered getting a setup from them for a while now, just never been able to pull the trigger.. Definitely on my list, just a little more in the future.

Looks really familiar, did you post something about this a while back? Looks good regardless.

yup, redline did a good job. I was even picky about matching the green stripe to the paint and his samples green was more olive then DFG. I did some searching locally and found a better match and sent a swatch to him. He put my piece in and the match was about as close as you can get between metalic paint and leather/vinyl

I posted pics of it when it was not finished and mounted a couple of weeks back. I had been too busy to take pics of it finished and installed so I did it today. I also painted the piece that covers the windshield vents just under the windshield but forgot to take pics of it.

I also realized I cleaned up under the hood and forgot to take pics so I will update both of those tomorrow.

That is exactly what I am aiming for, thanks. I like visual mods that do not scream at you but when you notice them they want to to look a little closer.
