im sure its been asked before but im too frustrated javascript:void(0); to look through other posts. well my engine wont start. the battery is fine, i know because i leave the ground cable off when it sitting, so nothing has been drained. and when i hook the cable up, the windows work, radio works, etc. I dont hear the engine trying to turn over tho. not sure what it could be. it was running fine a few weeks ago. last thing ive done was just take a look at the ford secutity box under the steering column area. idk if that could have anything to do with it. thanx for any help i get in advance

check to make sure all the cables are tight, even a loose connection can cause problems and if you are taking it off everytime you park it, are you tightening it down enough?

start simple and check all your fuses, both under the dash and under the hood.

If you have space to work on the car, I would jack it up and look at the starter, you might have a loose connection or too much corrosion.

Try to hook jumper cables to it and check just to make sure the battery has enough juice. I put a brand new battery in my car and it sat for a few weeks and somehow the battery was dead.

If its a loose connection or corrosion you can take a wire brush or snad paper or something to scrape the terminals clean. A little Coca Cola will eat most of the corrosion if you poor it on the terminals then scrape or sand the rest of it off. I would also look at the starter and check for loose connections

Well i Know there are two that goes to my box. they are separate from the fuse box. Why is there only one not hooked up? I know that if i dont turn the security off the car does exactly what you said. i have even unplugged it and it still did it.

no theres like 4 different plugs on mine. 1 group of a bunch of wires, another group of like 8, then 4, and last like 2. only the shock absorber(i dont remember exactly, but its SHOCK something) is plugged in. the 2 red wires were cut, and the other 2 plugs were unplugged

The security has a cut off to the starter. So if it is set or un plugged then It will not send any juice to your starter.

ok heres the box. the plugs labeled "A" and "B" did not come plugged in, but when "A" is plugged in, the alarm goes on and wont turn off. (i dont have the remote, all i have is a copy of the original key, but what do you expect from a used car.) "B" is my door locks, that havent been plugged in normally. only when i checked to see if it worked. it did for a little but then they stopped working. "C" has been plugged in since i got the car. and "D" the wires have been cut since i bought the car. and as far as the white cable "E" goes, its also cut, and i have no clue what that is. can any of this be the problem??

I think that D is for the starter. So if it is cut then it shouldn't affect it. If thats the case you should check you wireing to the starter.
